This contract opportunity is ideal for an SLP ready to make an immediate impact, providing essential communication support to students in a dynamic special education environment. You'll work 20 hours per week on-site, splitting your time across two schools just outside the Canby area, serving around 25 students in a specialized communication classroom program.

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Valid state licensure as an SLP (or eligibility to obtain) Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status accepted Previous school-based experience is preferred, but strong CFYs are encouraged to apply Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students with diverse communication needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student Provide direct therapy services, adapting activities to students' goals in the communication classroom Consult and collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to support student progress Maintain accurate session notes, progress reports, and required documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
