Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise in speech-language pathology to students ranging from elementary to high school in a rewarding contract role spanning multiple educational settings. New environments and diverse age groups will challenge and expand your clinical abilities, all while you play a transformative part in helping young people communicate and reach their academic potential. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments, developing and implementing individualized therapy plans, and maintaining open communication with teachers, administrators, and families. Adapt your professional skills to support students with a variety of communication needs and advocate for them as part of an integrated support team.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license/certification (state requirements must be met) Experience in educational settings with elementary, middle, and/or high school students Strong collaboration, organization, and communication skills Ability to manage a caseload, maintain records, and document progress Comfortable navigating IEP processes and participating in student support meetings Adaptability for working in different school environments and with a variety of student populations
Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, evaluations, and speech/language assessments for students Develop individualized treatment goals and evidence-based therapy plans Provide direct therapy sessions in both individual and group settings Consult with instructional staff and parents about student progress and strategies Maintain confidential records and make data-driven recommendations Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the creation of supportive educational plans Imagine making a daily difference - supporting students' communication growth and integration into the school community.
