9679906-97351 Job Description Step into a dynamic contract opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist, working full-time in an Early Intervention (EI) program near Independence, OR. This position focuses on an early childhood caseload, making a direct impact on young childrens communication skills and overall development. As part of a dedicated evaluation team, youll play a vital role supporting children and families, collaborating regularly with a supportive EI Team. This itinerant role provides variety in your workday as you travel to different sites to deliver services starting in August 2026, for the 2026-27 school year.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
Active state of Oregon Speech Language Pathologist license, or eligibility/in process of obtaining licensure Experience or strong interest in early childhood speech and language intervention Proven ability to collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams Strong communication and organizational skills Familiarity with evaluation, assessment, and intervention planning for children ages birth to five is a plus
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive assessments for children referred to the EI program Develop and implement individualized intervention plans for early childhood caseloads Provide itinerant speech and language therapy services across multiple sites Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals as part of a larger EI evaluation team Document progress, maintain records, and participate in team meetings and ongoing trainings Imagine your positive impact as you support children during their formative years, while enjoying a supportive work environment with plenty of collaboration and professional resources.
