Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract position delivering high-quality speech-language pathology services to students in an educational setting. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in children's lives by providing assessment, intervention, and support to help them succeed in communication and learning.
Desired Background and Qualifications:
Current license and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP), with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Experience working with school-aged children in a school-based or similar pediatric setting Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Ability to develop and implement effective therapy plans tailored to individual student needs Familiarity with IEP processes and special education documentation
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for students referred through the special education process Develop individualized treatment plans, set appropriate goals, and deliver engaging sessions Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support students' academic and social development Maintain accurate documentation, progress notes, and reports in compliance with school policies and legal guidelines Participate in IEP meetings and provide input on student eligibility, goals, accommodations, and progress
