This contract opportunity allows you to work collaboratively with dedicated educators, supporting students in their communication development and helping them reach their full potential in academic and social settings.
Desired Background and Qualifications:
Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist ASHA certification preferred (CCC-SLP) Recent experience providing services in school-based settings (elementary, middle, or high school) Thorough understanding of IEP processes and familiarity with goal setting, assessment, and progress monitoring Strong interpersonal and communication skills for interaction with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams Ability to adapt therapy approaches for diverse student populations and varying grade levels
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver evidence-based speech and language therapy to students from elementary through high school Conduct assessments, create and update IEPs, and document student progress in accordance with state and district guidelines Collaborate actively with classroom teachers, special education staff, and families to promote student achievement Provide consultation and training to school staff on communication strategies and supportive interventions Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, parent conferences, and professional development opportunities Embrace this chance to grow professionally while making a positive mark on students' educational experiences.
