Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A contract Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available serving a district-wide site-based program designed for students with specialized needs. This role is centered in White City, OR, supporting the
MAPS PLUS
programs across multiple educational levels. This opportunity involves providing targeted speech and language services to students within three elementary classes, one middle school class, and one high school class. The ideal candidate will have experience working in school settings and a strong commitment to helping students in diverse programs reach their communication goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and provide individualized speech-language therapy to students in
MAPS PLUS
programs. Develop and implement therapy plans tailored to the unique needs of each student. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other education professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in accordance with district and state guidelines. Participate in meetings and contribute to the development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
Qualifications:
Valid state licensure or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience working as an SLP in school settings, preferably with specialized district programs. Strong knowledge of speech and language development and therapy techniques. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Ability to manage caseload effectively and work independently.

White City, Oregon.
