Our school district in Allentown, PA is seeking a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist Clinical Fellow (SLP-CF) to join their team for the upcoming school year. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive, collaborative educational setting with structured mentorship. Position Overview Full-time, Monday-Friday (35-40 hours/week) Onsite position serving K-12 students (assignment based on preference/need) Supervision and mentorship provided by a licensed SLP to support CF completion Contract for the full school year with potential for renewal Caseload Details Diverse caseload of approximately 40-60 students (may vary by site) Mild to moderate communication needs, including: Articulation & phonological disorders Language delays (receptive/expressive) Social/pragmatic communication Fluency and voice disorders Some exposure to AAC and students with autism or developmental delays Responsibilities include: Conducting evaluations and re-evaluations Developing and implementing IEP goals Providing direct therapy services (individual & small group) Collaborating with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Maintaining compliant documentation Pennsylvania State Requirements (SLP-CF) To work as a Clinical Fellow in Pennsylvania, candidates must: Hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Obtain a Pennsylvania Educational Specialist Certificate (Instructional I) through the Pennsylvania Department of Education Apply for a temporary license (CF) through the Pennsylvania State Board of Examiners in Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Complete required background checks: FBI Fingerprinting PA Child Abuse History Clearance PA Criminal History Check Secure a supervising SLP for Clinical Fellowship (provided by district/contracting agency) What We're Looking For Strong communication and organizational skills Passion for working with school-aged children Ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team Commitment to completing Clinical Fellowship requirements Why This Role?
