A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Aventura at Creekside is currently seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated and compassionate in-house rehabilitation team !   • We invest in the success and growth of our therapists Competitive Compensation & Flexible Scheduling Key Responsibilities Provide speech-language pathology services to residents and patients experiencing communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to improve communication, cognition, swallowing, and overall function Deliver treatment in accordance with the established plan of care Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers on therapy programs and progress Monitor and report patient responses to treatment interventions Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations Make a Difference Every Day At Aventura at Creekside , our rehabilitation team is committed to delivering compassionate, high-quality care that helps patients achieve their highest level of independence and well-being.
