Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A school district in Chambersburg, PA is seeking two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2026-2027 academic year. These contract positions offer 37.5 hours per week and the opportunity to work in a supportive educational environment alongside a team of experienced professionals. Position 1 involves providing services within two elementary schools, focusing on early childhood speech and language development. Position 2 covers K-12 students with an emphasis on elementary support, allowing for a broader age range of interaction. Candidates with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) are preferred; however, Clinical Fellows (CFs) are welcome to apply. Please note that Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) are not being considered for these roles at this time. Responsibilities include performing speech and language evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, collaborating with educators and families, and documenting student progress. Candidates will also benefit from collaboration and mentorship, as the district boasts a team of nine other SLPs and an SLP director providing clinical guidance and administrative support.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Valid State licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows encouraged to apply Experience in school-based speech-language pathology preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to manage caseload efficiently and adapt to diverse student needsLocation:
