Your core responsibilities will include:

Conducting speech and language assessments for diverse learners, ranging from articulation needs to limited communication abilities Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, targeting each child's unique communication goals Collaborating with teachers, support staff, and families to deliver holistic services and maximize student successes Leading small group or one-on-one therapy sessions, both in classroom and designated therapy spaces Maintaining thorough documentation and progress notes for each student on your caseload (no more than 50 students) Participating in IEP meetings, progress updates, and multidisciplinary team discussions to advocate for students' needs Providing guidance to caregivers and staff on effective strategies for supporting communication at home and in the classroom Ideal candidates will bring: Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure and certification for schools Experience with early childhood populations or a sincere interest in supporting ages 3-5 Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working collaboratively with families and school teams Flexibility and adaptability—willing to adjust hours or schedules to help accommodate student needs Compassionate, creative approach to therapy, with a commitment to fostering growth and inclusion This contract role begins October 1, 2026 and runs through July 30, 2026, with schedule flexibility between the hours of 7:45am and 3:15pm and openness to part-time contributions.
