A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.
5 Days per Week Position Summary The Judge Group is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for a full-time, district-wide school-based assignment during the 2026-2027 academic year. This position will support students across multiple school buildings and grade levels, including students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and students who utilize Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices. The SLP will collaborate with educators, families, and related service providers to support student communication needs and academic success. Key Responsibilities Conduct speech-language screenings, evaluations, and comprehensive assessments. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and IEP goals. Provide direct and indirect speech-language therapy services. Support students with speech, language, communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders. Deliver services to students with ASD and those utilizing AAC systems and devices. Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on student outcomes. Participate in IEP meetings and provide recommendations regarding goals, accommodations, and services. Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and multidisciplinary team members. Complete all required documentation, progress reports, and compliance-related records. Consult with team members regarding treatment planning and service delivery. Support family education, transition planning, and other student-centered initiatives as needed. Provide supervision and guidance to Speech Therapy Assistants, Clinical Fellows, and interns when assigned. Maintain compliance with applicable state, federal, district, and professional standards. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist License. ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team. Preferred Qualifications Successful completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY). Previous school-based experience. Experience working with students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Experience utilizing and supporting Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices.
