Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact on early childhood education as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) in the Harrisburg, Perry County, and Upper Dauphin regions. This full-time contract opportunity offers 35 hours per week within a supportive Early Childhood program, working closely with a diverse group of young learners and dedicated educational teams. With a manageable caseload of 45 students, you'll have the chance to deliver individualized and group speech/language interventions while actively shaping students' communication skills during these foundational years.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA required State SLP license (or eligibility) in Pennsylvania Previous experience in a school or Early Childhood setting welcomed Strong assessment, therapy, and documentation abilities Excellent collaboration and communication skills Experienced SLPA candidates will also be considered

Key Responsibilities:

Provide speech and language therapy to early learners in both individual and small group formats Develop, implement, and update IEPs and treatment plans in partnership with educators and families Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students' needs and progress Collaborate closely with teachers, aides, and other support staff Maintain timely, accurate records and contribute to ongoing program development Participate in IEP meetings and family conferences as required
