Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the 2026-2027 school year in Fayetteville, PA. This contract position offers 37.5 hours per week, providing the chance to work in a collaborative school environment supported by a team of nine experienced SLPs and an SLP director.
Two positions are open:
Position 1: Serving two elementary schools, focusing on early childhood speech and language development. Position 2: Serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade, with a primary focus on elementary levels. Candidates holding the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology are preferred, but the district is also open to considering Clinical Fellows (CFs). Currently, no Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be utilized in these roles.
Responsibilities include:
Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments. Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans. Collaborating with educators, parents, and support staff to enhance student communication skills. Maintaining accurate documentation and progress records. Participating in ongoing team meetings and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications and desired experience:
Valid SLP license and CCC credential. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Experience or willingness to work with students across elementary to high school levels. Commitment to fostering student growth and success.
