Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract role supporting student communication needs across the Greater Harrisburg area, including Enola and Camp Hill. Licensed Speech-Language Pathologists are needed to deliver expert services for both an ESY (Extended School Year) summer program and a full academic year assignment. Make a tangible difference in multiple school buildings, guiding students toward greater success.
Key Qualifications:
Valid Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathologist license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred Previous experience within school settings highly desirable Strong skills in assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for speech and language disorders Ability to work collaboratively with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Flexible and adaptable to serve students across varying grade levels and locations Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Your Responsibilities:
Provide direct speech-language therapy for students in the ESY program (4 full days per week during summer) Transition into a five full-day schedule during the regular school year Split time among various school buildings as assigned, ensuring continuity of care Conduct evaluations, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and monitor student progress Consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to support each child's goals Maintain accurate records in compliance with state and district policies Why Consider This Opportunity?
