Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a PRN Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) who is certified and experienced in Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing (FEES) to provide mobile FEES services in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNFs) throughout Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity for an independent, clinically skilled SLP looking for flexible scheduling while making a meaningful impact on patient outcomes through instrumental swallowing assessments. Responsibilities Perform FEES evaluations in Skilled Nursing Facilities. Interpret findings and provide evidence-based dysphagia recommendations. Complete accurate, timely clinical documentation and FEES reports. Communicate results and recommendations with the interdisciplinary team (IDT) and the facility's treating SLP. Travel to assigned facilities throughout Pennsylvania.
Qualifications Required:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Current Pennsylvania SLP license in good standing. Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP). Current FEES certification. Must be clinically competent performing FEES independently and have previous pertinent experience conducting Fiberoptic Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallowing in a clinical setting. Strong knowledge of dysphagia assessment and management. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel throughout Pennsylvania.
