Morton, PA:
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing vital speech-language pathology services in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, contract role supports K-8 students with a diverse range of disabilities. Opportunities are available for the current school year, ESY (Extended School Year), and into the next school year, allowing you to make a lasting difference while advancing your professional skills.Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Prior experience working with school-aged children or within educational settings preferred
- Skilled in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Confidence in supporting a range of communication disorders, including non-verbal students
- Excellent communication skills with students, educators, and families
- Comfortable utilizing assistive and augmentative communication (AAC) devices
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment goals for students K-8
- Deliver direct therapy services tailored to a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
- Monitor, document, and report on student progress to support data-driven interventions
- Contribute to IEP meetings and administrate necessary documentation per school policies
