Morton, PA:
Make a meaningful impact in the lives of students by providing vital speech-language pathology services in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time, contract role supports K-8 students with a diverse range of disabilities. Opportunities are available for the current school year, ESY (Extended School Year), and into the next school year, allowing you to make a lasting difference while advancing your professional skills.
Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
  • Active state licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
  • Prior experience working with school-aged children or within educational settings preferred
  • Skilled in developing and implementing individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Confidence in supporting a range of communication disorders, including non-verbal students
  • Excellent communication skills with students, educators, and families
  • Comfortable utilizing assistive and augmentative communication (AAC) devices
Responsibilities:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment goals for students K-8
  • Deliver direct therapy services tailored to a variety of speech, language, and communication needs
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student progress
  • Monitor, document, and report on student progress to support data-driven interventions
  • Contribute to IEP meetings and administrate necessary documentation per school policies
