Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Support students and make an impact during the Extended School Year (ESY) by providing speech-language services in a contract role near New Kensington, PA. Utilize your expertise to help students reach their full potential while collaborating with dedicated educators and families.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders Active state licensure required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but Clinical Fellows (CF) are encouraged to apply Previous school-based or pediatric experience highly valued Strong communication and organizational skills Ability to develop effective IEP goals and provide progress updates
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct speech, language, and communication assessments for eligible students within the ESY program Develop and implement individualized speech therapy sessions in accordance with students' IEPs Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to support student progress and address concerns Maintain thorough documentation of services, attendance, and student progress Contribute to IEP meetings, providing insight and input for team-based decision making Adapt intervention techniques to meet each child's unique needs and ensure full participation in the ESY program
