Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Passionate about supporting students' communication development? Thrive in a collaborative and dynamic school environment? If you're a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with ASHA certification (CCC) seeking variety and flexibility, this contract opportunity could be an excellent fit. Multiple SLP positions are available at several sites in and around Aston and Broomall, PA. You'll play a key role in serving students with diverse needs, including an autistic support classroom, as well as itinerant and community-based students across surrounding areas such as Media, Brookhaven, Glen Mills, Chaddsford, Upper Darby, and more. Full-time positions (5 days per week) are open, however, candidates interested in at least 2 days per week are also encouraged to apply.
Qualifications:
Active ASHA certification (CCC) required Valid Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) Certification Previous experience in schools, particularly with autistic support or itinerant services, is highly valued Ability to adapt to varying caseloads and environments Strong collaboration and communication skills Readiness to begin immediately
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy to students in both classroom and itinerant settings Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) Maintain accurate records and progress notes in accordance with school guidelines Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to optimize student outcomes Serve multiple school sites and community locations as outlined above Why consider this opportunity?
