Job Description
Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting K-12 students as a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist in a contract role for the upcoming school years, including Extended School Year (ESY) services. Located conveniently in Philadelphia, this opportunity offers the chance to build strong relationships and see tangible progress in students' communication skills. You'll be part of a collaborative and welcoming school team committed to student growth and success.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Valid Pennsylvania SLP license ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) Experience or strong interest in a K-12 educational setting Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills Willingness to work on-site Monday through Friday, full-timeResponsibilities:
Evaluate and assess students' speech, language, communication, and swallowing needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) tailored to each student's needs Provide speech and language therapy sessions to K-12 students across diverse backgrounds and abilities Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure student progress Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and student progress as mandated by the school and district Support ESY (Extended School Year) programming to facilitate ongoing student development Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to team-based student planningBenefits and Perks:
