A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) -

Acute Care PRN Pay Range:

Based upon experience. Nyman Associates is seeking an experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our acute care team on a PRN basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an SLP who is passionate about providing high-quality patient care in an acute care hospital setting. Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (or eligibility) Post-Clinical Fellowship (CF) experience in acute care preferred Candidates with experience in Skilled Nursing Facilities (SNF) or Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) are also encouraged to apply Experience with dysphagia, swallowing evaluations, feeding, and medically complex patients is preferred Please note: Candidates with post-CF acute care experience are strongly preferred. Speech-Language Pathologists with primarily school-based experience are welcome to apply, particularly if they have medical clinical rotation or externship experience completed during graduate training.
