Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Seeking experienced Speech-Language Pathologists to provide itinerant early intervention services in either Carbon or Lehigh County. This contract position focuses on supporting preschool-aged children and may extend to include school-age students throughout the academic year, offering a unique opportunity to make a far-reaching impact in students' communication development.

What You'll Bring:

Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology licensure Valid Pennsylvania educator credential (Instructional I or II) Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP (SLP-CCC) Experience in school-based settings, particularly early intervention Flexibility to serve children from preschool through 12th grade as assignments shift Commitment to in-person service delivery Strong organization, communication, and collaboration skills Dedication to student progress and family partnerships What to

Expect:

Deliver itinerant speech-language therapy to preschool children, with potential school-age assignments throughout the year Engage with children and their families to assess, plan, and implement individualized intervention strategies Collaborate with educators, administrators, and support teams to support student progress Maintain thorough documentation and adhere to all compliance requirements Navigate changing caseloads and environments with adaptability Provide direct therapy, evaluation, and progress monitoring under a year-round early intervention calendar Enjoy working in supportive communities and helping students grow across developmental milestones. The assignment is scheduled for 35 hours per week, following the Early Intervention program calendar.
