Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Bring your expertise as a Speech-Language Pathologist to an engaging part-time, contract opportunity supporting elementary students in a vibrant, collaborative school environment near Scranton, PA. This in-person role is structured for two days each week, with one day dedicated to each of two welcoming elementary buildings. You'll make a direct impact, helping students thrive in their school experience through skilled intervention and compassionate care.
Desired Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field (SLP-CFYs considered) Valid state licensure or eligibility as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience in pediatric or school-based settings is highly valued Comfortable providing direct services in-person Familiarity with IEP Writer software is a plus Ability to manage a caseload across two sites Strong collaboration, organization, and communication abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans tailored to each student's needs Deliver individual and group therapy sessions in alignment with IEP goals Maintain thorough documentation and progress reports as required by school policies Communicate and collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams Assist with IEP development, meetings, and ongoing progress monitoring Provide support to Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (if applicable) Travel between two elementary buildings one day each week at each location Experience the satisfaction of helping young learners find their voice and confidence in an environment that values expertise and dedication.
