This role spans two vibrant school communities, offering the opportunity to foster growth and communication skills among K-12 learners. As a valued Speech-Language Pathologist, youll spend each week helping children reach their highest potentialthree days based in Tunkhannock and two days in Wilkes-Barre. The position begins as soon as possible and extends through January.

Desired Qualifications & Experience:

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Valid SLP licensure for Pennsylvania schools or eligibility to obtain Recent experience in educational or pediatric settings preferred Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills Collaborative mindset with educators, support staff, and families

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to identify students speech, language, and communication needs Develop, implement, and regularly update Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) Provide direct and consultative therapy services to students Document progress, maintain records, and participate in multidisciplinary meetings Travel between two school locations weekly to serve different student populations Act as a resource for teachers and families, providing insights and strategies to promote student achievement
