Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract A school district in Waynesboro, PA, is seeking two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) for the 2026-2027 academic year. These full-time positions offer 37.5 hours per week, providing an enriching opportunity to serve students across elementary and K-12 settings. Position 1 involves supporting speech and language needs at two elementary schools, while Position 2 will cover K-12 students with a focus mainly on the elementary level. Both positions provide an excellent collaborative environment, with support from a team of nine experienced SLPs and leadership by a director who is also an SLP.
Key Qualifications:
Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) Open to Certified Fellows (CFs); no SLPA candidates at this time Passion for working within school settings and supporting student communication development Ability to work collaboratively within a team of skilled SLP professionals
Primary Responsibilities:
Deliver comprehensive speech and language services to students in assigned schools Evaluate, diagnose, and provide intervention plans tailored to student needs Collaborate with educators, families, and support staff to enhance student communication outcomes Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with district policies and IDEA requirements This contract opportunity in Waynesboro offers a supportive and collegial work environment ideal for both new professionals and experienced clinicians.
