Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a lasting impact on students' lives by providing essential speech-language services across a district-wide K-12 school setting. This onsite role is ideal for certified Speech-Language Pathologists passionate about fostering growth and communication in diverse student populations. Step into a collaborative educational environment where you'll work closely with educators, administrators, and families, delivering evidence-based interventions directly to students. Qualifications:
Active Pennsylvania Speech-Language Pathology Certification required Pennsylvania Teaching Certification (upload both certs with your application) Experience in school-based speech therapy, including SLP-CCC credentials Comfortable working with K-12 students across multiple school settings Strong communication, documentation, and organizational abilities
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver direct and consultative speech/language therapy services to students onsite throughout the district (no virtual options at this time) Complete comprehensive assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and participate in IEP meetings Collaborate with school teams and families to support student progress and successful outcomes Monitor and document student progress, adjusting interventions as needed Comply with district, state, and federal guidelines for special education services This contract position runs from August 18, 2026, through May 27, 2027, offering a consistent full-time schedule of 35 hours per week during the academic year.
