School Calendar (aligned with Nevada school districts) Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide virtual services to 6-12 aged students across Nevada. This remote position focuses on delivering high-quality teletherapy services, supporting students with speech, language, communication, and related disorders in a school-based setting. The ideal candidate is tech-savvy, organized, and passionate about helping students succeed academically and socially. Key Responsibilities Provide virtual speech and language therapy services to students in accordance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Conduct remote assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student outcomes Maintain accurate documentation, including session notes, IEP updates, and compliance records Participate in virtual IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Utilize teletherapy platforms and digital tools effectively to engage students Ensure compliance with federal, state, and district regulations, including IDEA guidelines Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders Active Nevada SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA Previous experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred Experience with teletherapy or willingness to learn virtual service delivery Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills Reliable internet connection and a quiet, professional workspace Technical Requirements Ability to navigate teletherapy platforms, electronic documentation systems, and virtual meeting tools Access to a computer with webcam, microphone, and secure internet connection Familiarity with digital therapy materials and online assessment tools Benefits (if applicable) Competitive compensation (hourly or salaried) Flexible scheduling options Access to digital therapy resources and materials Clinical support and professional development opportunities Work-from-home convenience Preferred Skills Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a plus Experience working with diverse populations and varying disability categories Strong ability to engage students in a virtual environment Compensation for this position ranges from $40.91 to $60.91.
