Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Remote School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) - Louisiana 2026-2027 School Year | Virtual Position Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist looking for greater flexibility and the opportunity to make an impact from home? Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an ASHA-accredited program Active Louisiana SLP license (or ability to obtain prior to start date) ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Minimum of 2 years of experience (school-based and/or teletherapy experience preferred) Experience developing and managing IEPs Strong communication, organizational, and time-management skills Comfortable utilizing teletherapy platforms and educational technology Key Responsibilities Assessment & Intervention Conduct virtual evaluations to assess speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in a remote setting Deliver direct teletherapy services and monitor student progress Utilize data-driven decision-making to adjust interventions and maximize outcomes Collaboration & Support Partner with teachers, parents, and school staff to support student success Provide strategies and resources to promote skill carryover at home and in the classroom Participate in virtual IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Documentation & Compliance Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services, progress, and IEP goals Ensure compliance with district, state, and federal regulations Complete evaluations, reports, and billing documentation as required Technology & Teletherapy Utilize virtual platforms and digital tools to deliver engaging therapy sessions Adapt instructional materials for an effective online learning environment Troubleshoot basic technology issues and assist families with platform navigation Advocacy & Education Support student access to appropriate communication services Educate families and school teams on speech and language development Advocate for student needs and effective communication strategies Position Benefits 1099 Independent Contractor Position Compensation for Direct and Indirect Services Competitive Hourly Pay Flexible Scheduling Work Remotely from Home Access to Teletherapy Resources and Ongoing Support Interested?
