As a School SLP, you'll have the opportunity to work with diverse caseloads, including:
Elementary, Middle, and High School Students:
Creating tailored speech and language therapy sessions to address the unique needs of students at various developmental stages.
Individual and Group Sessions:
Conducting personalized therapy sessions and coordinating group activities to foster communication skills and social interaction.
Evaluation and Progress Tracking:
Administering comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders, tracking progress, and adjusting therapy plans as necessary.
Collaboration:
Working closely with educators, parents, and other educational professionals to enhance students' academic and social achievements.
Documentation:
Maintaining detailed and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, progress reports, and communication with stakeholders.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) Active CO state licensure as a SLP Colorado Teaching Certification Minimum of two years of experience working as a SLP in a school-based setting.
