Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Providing speech-language therapy services in a school setting, this full-time contract opportunity supports approximately 55 students across middle and some elementary school grades. The role includes direct case management and therapy delivery within an itinerant model, serving a single school district in the Stafford, VA area.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language pathology services to students, ensuring compliance with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Manage a caseload of approximately 55 students, primarily in middle school, with some elementary cases Utilize approved district systems and protocols for documentation and reporting Participate in team meetings and collaborate with educators and therapists as required Maintain clear communication with supervisors and department leads on student progress and caseload management Provide services according to workload models and caseload caps established by the district
Qualifications and Experience:
Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology Experience working within school-based settings, preferably with itinerant service delivery Familiarity with telepractice/telespeech methods is beneficial Ability to manage caseloads according to established school district guidelines Strong organizational and communication skills suited to education environments
