Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Speech Language Pathologists are needed to provide teletherapy services for Pre-K through 12th-grade students in a remote setting. This contract position offers an opportunity to deliver specialized speech and language support in a virtual school environment serving a diverse caseload.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans. Deliver teletherapy sessions to students across various grade levels. Monitor student progress and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with educational and clinical standards. Collaborate with educators, families, and clinical teams to support student communication goals. Manage a caseload of up to 55 students, with assignments varying based on building placement.

Qualifications:

Current Alaska Speech-Language Pathology license. Alaska Educator Certification or eligibility to obtain certification. Experience in telepractice (teletherapy) within a school setting is preferred. Strong communication and interpersonal skills suited to remote service delivery. Ability to effectively manage time and caseload in a virtual environment.

Remote (services provided virtually).

Schedule:

37.5 paid hours per week (40 hours total including 30-minute unpaid lunch).

Workdays:

5 days per week, 7.5 paid hours per day.

Contract Dates:

August 17, 2026 - May 21, 2027.

Caseload:

Up to 55 students.
