Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting students through valuable speech and language services for the 2026-2027 school year. Work full-time onsite—potentially with hybrid flexibility, pending mutual agreement with your supervisor—partnering closely with school staff to enhance educational outcomes. You'll have a meaningful role in nurturing communication skills and empowering young learners to reach their fullest potential.
Qualifications & Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Valid California state license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred Strong organizational skills and adaptability for both onsite and potential hybrid environments Excellent collaboration and communication abilities with interdisciplinary teams, students, and families
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide direct assessment, diagnosis, and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with teachers and special education staff Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and participate in IEP meetings Deliver services aligned with school guidelines and evidence-based practices Engage in consultation and training for teachers, parents, and support staff Support a diverse caseload spanning various grade levels and communication challenges This contract assignment begins August 10, 2026 and extends through June 3, 2027, offering the chance to build relationships and see your impact over a full academic year.
