Overview:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in a fully remote role for a school district in Virginia! As a Virtual SLP , you will provide diagnostic and therapeutic services to students of all ages dealing with speech, language and communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform thorough evaluations to diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in individuals across the lifespan. Administer standardized assessments, observe clients, and gather information from families and caregivers to assess the nature and severity of disorders. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student's needs. Provide therapy through virtual platforms, ensuring a high level of engagement and support.
Qualifications:
Active Virginia SLP-CCC license through the Virginia Department of Health Professions. A minimum of 2 years' experience in school-based settings . Previous experience with virtual assessments and IEP meetings is preferred. Professional liability insurance. Comfort and proficiency with technology, with the ability to pass a tech screening for remote work. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients, families, and team members.
