Job Description

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A contract position is available for a Speech Language Pathologist specializing in telespeech services within school settings. This opportunity allows for a fully remote work arrangement from Richmond, TX, providing the flexibility to deliver educational speech therapy virtually. Key responsibilities include evaluating, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders among students. The role involves collaborating with educators and families to develop individualized treatment plans and progress reports that meet students' unique needs. Qualifications and experience preferred for this position include: A minimum of 2 years of experience working in school-based speech language pathology. Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms is advantageous, though not mandatory. Ability to maintain compliance with relevant educational and healthcare regulations. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and clinical teams. Additional aspects of this contract include independent contractor status (1099) with direct access to clinical and technical support teams to assist with caseload management and technical issues.
