Contract, Part Time Sunbelt Staffing, a leading healthcare staffing agency, is currently seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide exceptional services to a school district. This is a contract position, offering a great opportunity to work with a supportive team of professionals and make a positive impact on the lives of students.
Job Details:
Part time (2 days/week) Elementary caseload Upcoming school year Responsibilities may include: Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement strategies to support student progress Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in accordance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Communication Disorders from an accredited program Massachusetts SLP license or eligibility to obtain licensure Massachusetts DESE license or eligibility to obtain licensure Prior experience in a school setting preferred Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team Strong organizational and time management skills Benefits include: Competitive compensation package Weekly pay Health benefits available 401K plan
