Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication development in a school-based contract position near Albertville, MN. This role offers a unique blend of direct and virtual services—an excellent opportunity for Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) candidates, and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPA) with experience in both school and healthcare settings.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology (for SLP/CFY applicants) State licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility (SLP/CFY) Accepted credentials for SLPAs (as required by state) Experience with K-12 student populations in school or teletherapy environments Strong collaboration, communication, and organization skills Comfort working independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team Ability to adapt to remote/virtual and on-site settings
Responsibilities:
Conduct screenings, assessments, and direct therapy sessions for students with speech, language, and communication needs Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to support student progress Develop and implement IEP goals and document progress Utilize teletherapy platforms and in-person interventions, depending on student and district needs Maintain precise records in accordance with district and state requirements Provide consultative support, strategies, and resources to staff and caregivers Support the professional growth of CFY and SLPA team members where applicable
