School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Ecorse, Michigan Sunbelt Staffing - 3.8 Ecorse, MI Job Details Full-time | Contract 9 hours ago Qualifications Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist interested in making a meaningful impact with K-12 students for the upcoming academic year. Work onsite in a vibrant educational environment, collaborating with students, educators, and families to foster communication skills and support academic success. This full-time, contract position runs from August 2026 through June 25, 2027, providing continuity and strong relationships within the school community.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license in the state of Michigan required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) School-based or pediatric SLP experience preferred Ability to manage a diverse K-12 caseload and support students with a range of communication needs Strong collaboration and communication skills to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams Commitment to onsite service delivery; this opportunity is not available for virtual/remote work
Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments and interventions for students in grades K-12 Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school personnel to create supportive learning environments and facilitate strategies for student success Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Participate in multi-disciplinary meetings and contribute to the problem-solving process for student needs Engage with a supportive faculty while contributing to a positive and collaborative school atmosphere.
