What they do
A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description
Key Qualifications:
Active state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist Experience in a school environment is strongly preferred Demonstrated proficiency in administering assessments and developing IEPs Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills Commitment to fostering a supportive, inclusive atmosphere for diverse student populations Comfortable with technology for remote or hybrid service deliveryPrimary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations Develop and implement individualized therapy plans in alignment with student needs Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams Monitor student progress and update plans as necessary Maintain thorough documentation and communicate results effectively Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to ongoing support plansBenefits:
