Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming academic year. This position offers a chance to work closely with students in an educational environment, helping them achieve their communication goals and supporting their overall development.
Key Qualifications:
Valid and active North Carolina SLP license required Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) Previous experience with school-based caseloads preferred, particularly K-12 populations Strong collaboration skills for working with teachers, administrators, and families Excellent communication and documentation abilities Dedication to supporting diverse student needs in a school setting
Role Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to assigned K-12 students onsite (virtual/remote options not available) Conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and document student progress Consult with educators, parents, and related service providers to foster a collaborative team approach Develop appropriate IEPs and participate in meetings as needed Maintain accurate records in compliance with district and state requirements Stay current with best practices and compliance policies in speech-language pathology Enjoy the benefits of a consistent schedule, supportive educational setting, and the fulfillment that comes from helping students overcome barriers to learning.
