Job Description

Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract This opportunity involves providing specialized speech-language pathology services within a school setting via telespeech and in-person modalities. The role is based in Newport News, VA, supporting students who require speech and language interventions to improve communication skills essential for academic success.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech-language therapy sessions using telespeech and face-to-face approaches. Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs. Collaborate with educational staff and caregivers to support student progress. Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports in compliance with educational and clinical standards. Adapt therapy methods to meet diverse student populations and learning environments.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist. Experience providing speech and language services in school settings. Proficiency in telespeech technology and teletherapy best practices. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain accurate records.
