A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Speech Language Pathologist-1099 Talk Time, LLC Midlothian, VA Job Details Contract $70 - $75 an hour 2 hours ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Master's degree Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Driver's License Telehealth experience Speech-Language Pathology License Full Job Description Overview Contract Work - Licensed and Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) Talk Time, LLC provides speech and language Therapeutic Consultation services to children and adults diagnosed with developmental disabilities in the Central Virginia area. Our services are person centered and individually tailored to support individuals and their team who have a desire to improve communication, social skills, and safe intake of optimal nutrition and hydration to support the individual to meet their goals and live a quality life.
Duties:
Conducting speech, language, and assessments Developing a person-centered Speech and Language Support Plan Developing personalized data collection methods Consulting with and train the individual and their treatment team to implement the SLP Support Plan Consulting with the individual and their treatment team in a variety of settings: virtually, in the home, residential home, day program, school, community or job site
Experience:
SLP - The candidate must be a Licensed and Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC's required). CFs and SLP-As will not be considered.
Required :
Licensed and Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC's required) Computer/laptop/tablet with access to internet Reliable and stable internet connection for telehealth options Background check Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Up to 50% travel fro your home office

$70.00 - $75.00 per hour- based on experience and training needs Expected hours: 35 up to 40 per week Work from your own home office Up to 50% remote work from your home office Flexible schedule Compensation package:
