Evaluation Only LighthouseTherapy, LLC Chattanooga, TN Job Details Part-time | Contract $65 an hour 4 hours ago Benefits License reimbursement Flexible schedule Referral program Qualifications Master's degree in speech-language pathology (SLP) Student report writing Technical report writing Master's degree Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology Schedule management Speech-Language Pathology License Clinical assessment documentation Full Job Description Lighthouse Therapy LLC is seeking a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to complete speech and language evaluations for preschool and school-age children in the school setting. This is an evaluations-only position with no ongoing therapy caseload, making it a great fit for an SLP who enjoys assessment, eligibility determination, and report writing. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive speech and language evaluations and reevaluations for preschool and school-age students Select, administer, score, and interpret standardized assessments Evaluate articulation/phonology, receptive and expressive language, fluency, voice, and pragmatic/social language as appropriate Complete preschool and school-age evaluations in accordance with Tennessee special education requirements Review educational, developmental, and therapy records Gather parent and teacher input and complete observations as needed Write clear, comprehensive evaluation reports Participate in eligibility and evaluation meetings as needed Collaborate with school teams regarding eligibility and educational impact Complete evaluations and documentation within required timelines This position does not require carrying a therapy caseload. Required Qualifications Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Tennessee Speech-Language Pathologist license Current Tennessee Professional School Service Personnel License with the appropriate Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) Strong assessment, diagnostic, and report-writing skills Ability to independently manage evaluation timelines and documentation Preferred Experience School-based speech-language evaluations Preschool assessment Tennessee special education eligibility criteria and procedures Differential diagnosis of speech and language disorders Schedule This position offers flexibility and is specifically designed for an SLP interested in evaluation and assessment work without a traditional treatment caseload. Evaluation volume and scheduling may vary based on school needs.
