Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make a meaningful impact supporting students' communication needs in a welcoming educational environment near Napa, CA. This contract opportunity is ideal for those passionate about delivering speech and language services to a diverse student population. Positions are available for in-person work, with some flexibility for virtual/remote assignments (VOCO) where the setting allows. Multiple full-time and part-time schedules are open across high, middle, elementary, and post-secondary school settings. Please indicate your preferred assignment (a-f) in your application:
Available Settings:
a) 1.0 FTE (In-person, one site): Serve 2 Special Day Classes (High School & Post-Secondary, Intensive and Mild/Moderate). b) 1.0 FTE (In-person, two sites): 0.6 FTE with Middle School Special Day Class (Intensive & Mild/Mod), 0.4 FTE with Transitional Kindergarten (TK) Special Day Class. c) 1.0 FTE (one site): Elementary [TK-5], no Special Day Classes. d) 1.0 FTE (In-person, two sites): 0.6 FTE Mild/Mod Program [TK-5]; 0.4 FTE Middle School [Intensive & Mild/Mod]. e) 1.0 FTE (three sites): Combination of TK-8 and TK-5, no Special Day Classes. f) 0.5 FTE (three sites): Flexible mix across High School and Elementary (including Mild/Mod).
Qualifications:
Active SLP licensure and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required Previous school-based SLP experience preferred Skilled at assessment, IEP development, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams Strong communication, organization, and adaptability
Responsibilities:
Deliver speech/language therapy to students as outlined in IEPs Complete evaluations, progress monitoring, and participation in school teams Provide direct and consultative services across various settings Contribute expertise at IEP meetings and in staff consultations Maintain accurate documentation of student progress Take an active role in shaping student success while working in a beautiful region with a supportive educational staff.
