Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Make an impact supporting K-12 students as a Speech-Language Pathologist for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year. This full-time contract opportunity offers a flexible approach—SLPs can be placed within environments that best match their professional strengths and location preference, with both onsite and hybrid roles available near Brainerd, MN. Starting September 8th, you'll play a vital role helping students achieve their communication goals.
Key Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution Current or eligible Minnesota SLP license Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) status Experience or strong interest in serving K-12 students Commitment to collaborative, student-centered approach Effective communication and time management skills
Core Responsibilities:
Conduct speech and language evaluations for students on assigned caseloads Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in accordance with school policies Provide direct speech-language therapy to students, both individually and in group settings Work closely with teachers, staff, and families to monitor student progress and adjust interventions as needed Maintain thorough, timely records and prepare required reports Engage in IEP meetings and contribute expertise in speech-language development Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities Enjoy the satisfaction of knowing your expertise is supporting students' confidence, communication, and academic success.
