Job Description
Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. Experience a rewarding opportunity providing speech-language services in a supportive educational environment for the 2026-2027 school year. This contract role offers a consistent full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, working closely with students to help them achieve meaningful progress. The position is fully onsite, with consideration for a hybrid schedule depending on your experience and needs.
Key Qualifications:
Hold a current Maryland SLP license SLP-CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) required Prior school-based or pediatric experience is strongly preferred Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills Dedicated to fostering communication skills and overall student success Comfortable working onsite; hybrid schedule may be considered for qualified candidates
Primary Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for students Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in consultation with other professionals and families Deliver targeted therapy services to students in both individual and group settings Maintain thorough and compliant documentation of assessments, progress, and interventions Collaborate closely with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' learning and communication needs Engage in IEP meetings, staff consultations, and ongoing professional development
