Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into a rewarding opportunity as a Speech-Language Pathologist serving students in an engaging school environment near the beautiful beaches of St. Augustine, FL. This contract role is available for the upcoming academic year, beginning August 5th, 2026, and extending through May 29th, 2027. Both full-time and part-time assignments are available, offering flexibility to accommodate your schedule and preferred workload. Itinerant positions can be created by combining caseloads across multiple school sites, primarily at Beachside High School and Nease High School.
Qualifications:
Active Florida DOH SLP license (Certificate of Clinical Competence required) Prior experience or strong interest in school-based speech-language pathology services Willingness to undergo Florida fingerprinting requirements, or confirm existing clearance status through the AHCA Clearinghouse Availability for on-site work during the school year (no virtual/remote options) Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver speech and language therapy services to high school-aged students Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress Consult and collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and related service professionals Manage documentation and compliance with district and state requirements Support students across multiple school sites, with flexible scheduling possible
