Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract A contract opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist skilled in telespeech and teletherapy, supporting school-based virtual settings. This assignment runs from August 25, 2026, through June 11, 2027, with an expected weekly commitment of 35 hours over three full days, scheduled in alignment with Eastern Standard Time. The role involves providing speech-language pathology services across elementary to middle school age groups, with caseloads typically ranging from 40 to 57 students throughout the year. Assignments and student numbers will be tailored based on professional skill set and geographic location, ensuring an effective match between clinician strengths and caseload demands.
Key responsibilities:
Deliver high-quality virtual speech-language pathology interventions conforming to school-based requirements Collaborate remotely with educational teams to support student communication goals Manage caseloads with flexibility to adapt to changing student needs and service demands Maintain accurate documentation and comply with credentialing and background check requirements Qualified candidates will possess: A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field Active Maryland state licensure in speech-language pathology Minimum of three years post-COVID virtual school-based experience, with at least two of those years within the past five years Strong teletherapy skills and experience in delivering virtual speech services aligned with school settings Eligibility to work within the Eastern Standard Time zone Additional application components: Current resume Images of relevant licensure References demonstrating professional competencies and effectiveness Credentialing prerequisites include compliance with state background checks.
