Job Description
Administer and interpret standardized tests to identify students' speech, language, and hearing needs.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to each student's communication goals.
Provide individual and group speech and language therapy using appropriate strategies and techniques.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, administrators, and other specialists to support communication development.
Continuously monitor student progress and adjust intervention plans as needed.
Serve as a resource for staff and families, offering guidance to support students with speech and language needs.
Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and recommendations.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology. Appropriate Illinois SLP licensure. Strong understanding of special education standards and requirements. Proficiency in assessing and remediating speech and language disabilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
