Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Category Schools - SLP Job Type Contract Step into an enriching opportunity supporting elementary students during a maternity leave coverage this fall. This contract position is ideal for a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (SLP-CCC), eager to make a difference in a school-based environment from September through November. Bring your expertise to a setting where your skills and experience will help students with mild to moderate needs achieve growth and communication success. Collaborate with educators and families to create individualized treatment plans and deliver meaningful interventions—all within a friendly, supportive community.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Active SLP-CCC credential Minimum of 2 years' experience in a school-based SLP role Demonstrated success working with elementary-age students Strong knowledge of interventions for mild to moderate communication needs Excellent communication, documentation, and collaboration skills

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments and evaluations for elementary students Develop and implement targeted speech-language therapy plans Maintain accurate records and contribute to IEP meetings Work closely with school staff, administrators, and families to support student progress Deliver direct therapy services; supervision of SLPA is not required for this assignment Manage a mild to moderate caseload in a welcoming and organized school setting This assignment offers the unique chance to focus fully on direct therapy services without SLPA oversight or virtual/remote (VOCO) responsibilities.
