Job Description

Category Schools - SLP - Telespeech Job Type Contract A part-time remote Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the full school year, offering the opportunity to support approximately 30 students in a school-based setting. This 0.5 FTE role operates on a 1099 independent contractor basis, providing flexibility and autonomy while maintaining connection with a dedicated clinical team.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services aligned with student needs and IEP goals Conduct initial and reevaluation assessments, preparing detailed evaluation reports Develop, write, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Monitor student progress and maintain precise documentation Participate in IEP, eligibility, and school team meetings Collaborate effectively with teachers, special education staff, families, and related service providers Supervise and provide clinical guidance to a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) Ensure compliance with applicable state licensure and special education requirements Maintain clear communication with school and clinical support teams

Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology Current Speech-Language Pathologist license valid in the applicable state Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required Experience with school-based evaluations and IEP development Prior supervisory experience of an SLPA preferred Strong organizational, communication, and documentation skills Ability to work independently in a remote, virtual environment
