A Speech Language Pathologist diagnoses and treats speech, language, and swallowing disorders in patients with a variety of conditions. Helps patients improve their ability to make sounds or use language, or develop non-spoken means of communication. May specialize in working with patients of a certain age group, or treat speech problems resulting from a condition such as a stroke or cleft palate. Works in schools, hospitals and other healthcare facilities and works closely with physicians, psychologists, social workers, and other therapists.

Job Description

Degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. A fully remote opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech services. This contract role supports virtual speech therapy delivery within school settings.
Responsibilities:
Provide speech-language therapy services using telepractice methods Assess and treat students with speech and language disorders via a virtual platform Utilize interactive learning materials and digital assessment tools Collaborate with clinical and technical support teams to ensure quality service delivery Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in alignment with professional standards
Qualifications:
Valid SLP certification and relevant state licensure or eligibility Experience delivering speech therapy services remotely, preferably in educational settings Proficiency with virtual therapy platforms and online communication tools Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage students virtually Ability to adapt therapy techniques to fit telepractice formats
